The washing station is called Lalesa in Gedeb, which is in Yirgacheffe at the higher latitudes of any available coffee ( 2200 m.a.s.l.) and is a 3.5-hectare area with 350 raised beds. Ephtah empowers women by a series of initiatives including education, financial knowledge, financing and strengthening the female coffee community leadership. Coffee was purchased from a group of farmers in Worka Sakaro.
 
This coffee is natural,  the whole ripe cherries were left to dry with its skin and mucilage attached. The coffee is sundried for 12 - 15 days.
