Rwanda Muhondo Anerobic natural Coffee
This coffee has just landed and was roasted for the 1st time 4th April 2024. Muhondo is the oldest and largest of the three washing stations belonging to the Muhondo Coffee Company. It is located in the Gakenke district, in north region. This is a special selection and definitely not a standard everyday average coffee. Anerobic Natural highlights that the coffee was fermented for a time while still in the cherry, in an environment free from oxygen (under water). It greatly changes the standard taste profile of the finished coffee. It is an extremely small batch and we just have one 30kg box. By the time it was delivered the lot was fully sold. The Quality is absolutely 2nd to none, from this Rwanda Speciality coffee, and the dedication and craftsmanship of the local farmers and the unique terroir of the region.
